Dr. Dhafer Almakhles, currently serving as the Chairman of the Communications and Networks Engineering Department and Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Unit at Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He has published more than 200 papers in top scientific journals, and is regarded among the top 2% of researchers worldwide as in the Stanford University list. He is considered one of the experts in the accreditation and quality assurance for higher education institutions and programs, where he acts as a consultant and external reviewer for various agents including The National Centre for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation as well as Oman Academic Accreditation Authority.
