Speaker Bio
Tariq Alalshaikh is a senior engineering consultant on compressors, expanders and steam turbines.
Tariq worked for Saudi Aramco for 32 years, at The Consulting Services Department, where he was
responsible for compressors, expanders, gears and steam turbines and their auxiliary systems. He
retired in 2022.
Tariq has a master’s degree in fluid dynamics from the University of Southern California in 1989.
Tariq is currently working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Compressor and Turboexpanders for
Aramco Jafurah Project since March 2023.
