Amit Narayan

Mr Narayan has 37 years of experience in diverse E&P activities in Offshore, Onshoreand Corporate offices as well. A Graduate in Chemical Engineering from University ofRoorkee (now IIT-Roorkee) in 1986 and M Tech from IIT-Delhi in 1988, Mr Narayanalso holds MBA in HR. Prior to his superannuation in Feb’24, he took challenging assignments of turningaround Rajahmundry Asset and Cambay Asset. Mr. Amit Narayan also has richexpericnce of working in Corporate office as Executive Officer to CMD, ONGC Groupof Companies. Mr Narayan’s journey in ONGC began on 18 May 1987 at Mumbai Offshore as In-charge Construction of Bombay High. His specialization in Process Engineering andPlant Design during his M Tech course gave him an edge in creation of several facilitiesin Bombay High offshore fields.a. He received CMD’s group award in 1989 for “Successful pilot project of Gas liftin Bombay High” During his tenure in Assam Asset from 2000-2003, Mr Narayan was Area ManagerWork over for Rudrasagar and Satellite fields and was adjudged as “Best AreaManager-Workover” in 2003. Mr Narayan was also a core group member in formulation of Perspective Plan 2030for ONGC, for which he received CMDs Group Award in 2013. He also set up andheaded first Corporate War Room for monitoring initiatives identified under PerspectivePlan 2030. Mr Narayan has undergone Senior Management Program at MDI Gurgaon andLeadership Development Program at IIM Kolkata. Prior to his superannuation in Feb’24, he was Asset Manager of Rajahmundry Assetin the state of Andhra Pradesh where he spearheaded enhancement of oil and gasproduction from Tight and challenging fields through massive hydrofracturing.
