“Amro Hassanein is a Staff Inspection Engineer with Advanced Petrochemical Company in Jubail, KSA. He began working in the Oil& Gas industry in the early 2000’s. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Suez Canal on 1998. Currently appointed in the role of a Lead Inspection &Corrosion engineer, Inspection Department. Amro’s job is to provide the technical leadership role to ensure Asset Integrity is maintained in a safe and reliable manner. This includes undertaking Corrosion management plans, root cause failure analysis, Inspection techniques. He’s also involved in daily trouble shooting of Asset related challenges, conducting Risk Assessments, ensuring compliance to Advanced petrochemical engineering standards, conducting, and facilitating regular trainings to engineering staff to upskill their knowledge in the field of Inspection, Metallurgy, Corrosion and Advanced NDT techniques.Amro is a strong believer in the power of knowledge sharing inside and outside the workplace, He regularly develops internal training sessions to assist new employees.”
